From quite a young age I loved making things or rather
changing things, breathing new life into them, giving them a 'twist'. From my
nan's expensive party frocks, which I chopped up, took up and in until they fit
my petite frame to creating fabric sculptures, wet and needle felting. . .
I've learned how to build a website and have a Diploma in Professional Interior Design. And these have all led me here, to give new leases of life to forgotten, discarded, abandoned and unloved furniture and accessories. Consequently I find it very hard to look at anything now without imagining how I can give it my own, unique 'TWIST'. . .It's also a great excuse for shopping. . .my most enduring passion. . .I get palpitations going into a fabric shop when there's something really special there, never-mind craft and vintage fairs. . .and auctions. . .my beating heart be still!
